DuPont Refinish Five Star Signage design guidelines
Who is this guide for?
What do you have to do?
It is important that you read this document and have a sound understanding of the principles set out on pages 4 to 12 before developing any signage.
All markets must implement the new rules as existing signage requires replacement or significant maintenance.
The new DuPont Five Star signage program
Managing a bodyshop can be a daunting task; there are many variables to consider which can affect its success. As a Five Star member there is support available for some of these, such as how to attract new work providers, how to raise the professional standards of your refinishers and your bodyshop and how to offer unparalleled customer service in order to maintain and grow a profitable and productive business.
Now Five Star is increasing that offering, with a new signage design directive to be implemented across Europe
Available to all Five Star members across Europe, the new, international design, which will be the same in every country, gives your bodyshop the opportunity for even more distinguishable marketing and extra visibility in markets across the region. By offering a common and distinct design to all Five Star members, DuPont Refinish gives bodyshops the opportunity to unite under a clear visual brand which represents the strength of Five Star.
Benefits of the new design include:
- Increasing your own brand image and promoting strong communication with private customers and commercial fleets.
- Lease and insurance companies becoming highly visible to customers from other countries raising your bodyshop’s profile.
- Standing out from the crowd showing the mark of professionalism and best practice, demonstrating high-quality repairs and premier customer service.
What should you do now?
Signage at existing locations:
Walk or drive around your location and focus on what you would see as if you were a first time visitor. Ask yourself the following questions:
Are all the signs well located and easy to read? Yes/no
Do all the signs carry clear, accurate, up-to-date, and helpful information? Yes/no
Are all the signs in good condition: clean, not faded and well presented? Yes/no
Do all the signs create a good impression of a professional, quality business? Yes/no
If the answer to any of these is 'NO' then you must take action now using this implementation guide.
Signage at new locations:
At an early stage in planning for a move to a new location, contact your approved supplier and seek a proposal for all signage required, both external and internal.
Work with your local DuPont Five Star representative to choose from the sign options within this manual and then liaise with our local image management partner to produce and to implement the new signage. From your bodyshop fascia to your washroom signage and price tariffs – show off the strong messages and key values promoted by the Five Star network.
