Welcome to the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) Brand Standards Guide.
HRPA’s visual brand is the cornerstone of our public image and, through association, the image of the HR profession in general. Much thought and attention to detail has gone into developing the visual elements contained in this document. Ensuring that we present a consistent image is critical in our effort to establish a highly professional, prominent and memorable image of the Association and its Chapters.
HRPA Brand Standards Manual
In a visually cluttered world, HRPA’s brand identity needs to stand out and clearly and efficiently communicate the value we deliver to the HR profession and the economy as a whole. Beyond HRPA, we assume the responsibility of representing the Human Resources profession overall and are committed to the positioning of HR as a critical strategic role within an organization.
This manual will detail the architecture and basic components of the HRPA visual brand and the guidelines for their usage and application. A Chapter Brand Standards guide is available for Chapter applications.
HRPA is THE resource and voice for Human Resources Professionals in Ontario. Our success in maintaining an image that reflects the professionalism of the Association and the value we deliver to a diverse group of stakeholders relies on each individual responsible for managing our visual identity globally, provincially and locally. As a provincial association with many chapters, the task of establishing a consistent identity across the province is not an easy one and needs to be managed.
Together, we have the opportunity to effectively position HR globally and in Ontario and promote the critical role our profession plays in every organization across the globe and in our provinces.
This opportunity must be managed to be realized. We appreciate your ideas and ask that you submit them so they can be evaluated and implemented within the scope of the larger organization. We also ask that you adhere to these guidelines in the development of your communications materials. Changes to these standards, however well intentioned, will result in inconsistency and will harm our public image.
Managing our brand requires that Communications and the appropriate staff teams prepare current communications and/or marketing plans for all core programs and services. Before completing a project please send a proof to HRPA for approval by the Director of Communications and the Visual Communications Specialist.
